Snippets of South Lanarkshire

This display brings together a selection of stories which celebrate South Lanarkshire’s varied history, including objects relating to Harry Lauder, sporting medals and trophies from across South Lanarkshire, items relating to Seath’s shipyard in Rutherglen, and paintings by the Cadzow Artists.

We will be redeveloping one of our galleries over the next year and some of the objects featured in this display may eventually form part of the new gallery in Low Parks.

We would be interested to hear your opinions on what you would like to see in our new gallery, relating to South Lanarkshire.

During your visit to the ‘Snippets from South Lanarkshire’ display at Low Parks Museum, please fill in one of our postcards with your suggestions.
